The Whistlestop Shawnigan Lakeside Bed & Breakfast is located in a simply idyllic location which is often described as similar to that of "On Golden Pond". We are nestled in a lush, quiet lakeside setting that is spectacular year round.

The living room, with its stone fireplace, takes center stage on the main floor. Also included are sunroom and library areas, providing you with all the comforts of your special home away from home.

Relax and enjoy the spacious living room area. Curl up with a good book, board game or retreat to your room and watch a movie from our extensive VHS library. The sunroom provides a scenic view of the lake and grounds. If you're lucky, you might even spot the E&N Dayliner train pass by on its Island route.

The morning starts with a carafe of fresh coffee and assorted baked goods waiting at your door. Then at your chosen breakfast setting (8:30 am or 10:00 am), your menu choices will be served fresh and piping hot upstairs in our delightful, open-planned breakfast and kitchen area.

Our extensive breakfast menu caters to every possible appetite. A perfect way to start your day.
